A short three minute clip of a Sunday morning on Maui. An extraordinary one. Unfortunately the clip does little to show the vicious lava rock, or the brutal heat, nor the big climbs, and long beaches. But it goes a small way to show some atmosphere from the Xterra World Championships of 2008.

Some shockers. I have never seen anything like this. The Xterra World Championsjip afterparty is a Halloween dressup. I didnt realise to what extent… Or that just about everyone does… I’ll be prepared next time.

Some photo’s of time snorkeling (without a snorkel, and only one flipper) with Leigh and David on Monday. The highlight for me were the turtles. Swam with three. Such graceful creatures. If we had gone earlier the water would have been clearer apparently, as the wind picks up midday. But still, was amazing.
