An 09 S-Works Epic in Maui... For me?

An 09 S-Works Epic in Maui... For me?

One of my "Dream Givers" pulled all strings, twice, and after a lengthy saga
I look forward to blogging about, the best bike in the world, in my size with
my name on, reached the Maui DHL office on Friday afternoon. I'll be forever
grateful in the faith shown in me, and will win here some day on a Specialized
because of.

I tried to do the bike justice, and felt like I was riding well most the way up in
third behind Stoltz and Battelier two thirds in. But I lost some air in my rear,
and then 'air' in my legs, and came in 8th. A result I am more than happy with in
a class field on a brutal day.

I'll swing on the race report tomorrow. Need to get set for some grub at the awards
dinner and the party after.

Icing on the cake my man, and one fine year of adventure, some salty and some sweet. I am sorry that I won’t be seeing you before you depart but I will look forward to our next meeting. I should have that post ready soon, you might be amused to learn what I was doing while you were racing Sunday. There are many ways to have fun, and earn your way, yours is more intriguing than most. Keep it up.
