Bitter sweet

Life seems such a roller coaster at times. Should arguably try to embrace and enjoy that? Just got to the accomofation in Sabie after a lengthy day of travel. Brilliant to be here. Despite the rain bucketing down. Mud bath tomorrow for sure.
Scratched another vehicle while attempting a parking yesterday. While my drivers licence had expired. Meant having to go to Durban Central Police station. Lucky not to go to a cell and be bailed with a criminal record soon after. Was a low moment. An interesting moment.
Then today, got to meet some great new people while setting off somewhere I’d not been for a four day mtb adventure. And heard I got a cover for a local magazine, as well as a review in another publication. Such a treat.
So that’s life then I guess. Minor bumps along the way, some up and some down. Just trying to keep the general gradient upward…

If it makes you feel better I am driving with an expired license for few weeks now. I did not bump any cars though but I am not on the cover the mags either - but I leave the popular media to you while I remain the man in the shadow.
Anyway… lows are good cause you can only get high. You can take this in number of ways…
