I made it round more lush green countryside with quaint wooden fences and dilapidated sheds reminding me of time’s peaceful steady march onward toward decay. Quiet roads from Craig Evan’s home in Spring Hill – two hops, three skips and a jump from Nashville – the city of music. This time I made it down town! to soak up some country music and cowboy hat parades. Numerous bars had the live act setup going, and apparently they’re all waiting to be discovered some day soon… Like the rest of us?

I really liked it – different feel to anything I’ve been to. Perhaps I just stepped into the tourist trap. But either way it was much enjoyed. Really fun to get out and about.
Right down town is a building like something from Gotham. From a distance on the highway coming in it is the batman building for sure…

Strange week with only 5 days between racing. I’ll get over to to Little Rock tomorrow, and do some pre-riding on Friday in 40degree heat and high humidity – topped with mosquitoes – all hearsay, even from the weather man, but sounds toasty out that way.
Been another stacked stay with Craig and his family. Big thanks. They have an open door policy and again their home is on a direct line route between two race venues…
Need to be off for a swim to stroke the tiger. Started to get edgy and in need of some solid training days back in Truckee – will be there on Sunday.
