Dejan Patrcevic

Dejan, a partner of mine in the Nekada team, placed second this past weekend in 70.3 event in Austria. I cant pronounce his name, nor understand any of the race report. But the more important bits are universal – he podium-ed in second but looked way more trendy in transition than the winner. Thats what counts, no? Congrats on your event Dejan.

(No guessing which shorts I prefer!)

I am hoping to set myself up to do a few half Ironman events such as this next season. I dont know how well it will compliment Xterra conditioning, but in theory it could be very similar training stimulus, with the major difference being the change in riding position. The only person managing both with success is Julie Dibbens. I have the world’s greatest time trialing machine and will have to put it to the test some time, no? Further, doing some non-drafting will broaden the race opportunities in the USA.

So perhaps soon I too could wear something statement making alongside Dejan on a 70.3 podium.

The guy on the right really needs someone to tell him stuff about dressing and presentation. Really not good looking!
