Reflecting on November and December leaves me grateful for the local reception following the season’s final two races. Beyond that, I was back in Stellenbosch where I’m afforded the lifestyle of a rockstar. There was a desire to share some of it’s fruits with a few of those I’m indebted to by commissioning my sister to cook with Spier produce, served alongside Raats Family Wines, at Greengate, capped off with the trademark Greengate cupcakes and a Häzz Coffee. Even had a Vespa floating about for test driving.
Enjoyed the process plenty – the philosophy as much as the reality. Will have to organise another later in the summer after taking on board a few organizational lessons… But for no particular reason other than to combine elements I delight in.
This is not a solo voyage – thanks to you, and all who back it.
