The most authentic characterful town I’ve seen in America: Downieville. Got to go do an epic make you feel like life’s worth living type ride there this afternoon – the cross country course for next weekend’s Downieville Classic. It wasnt in the plan. A spontaneous phone call and 30min on I was packed and set to roll. Memorable; them bone shaking descents and jaw dropping vistas.
