Earth Day at Squaw Valley

April 28th, 2008 by Dan Hugo

Gary, Gia, Little Ella, Ruth and myself spent some of Saturday attending the Earth Day Festival at Sqauw Valley (sqauw.com) - the picturesque home of the 1960 Winter Olympics. The strangest collection of odd folk I’ve come across. Everything from the ultra wealth and their dog, to hippy’s dancing to a hippy band playing hippy love rock, to solar energy scientists and even a stand promoting natural water births…

Its the best skiing around Truckee, but comes at a $2000/season tag…
