But thoughts in a nutshell: The 1100m swim should be a non-factor. The 35km ride looks like a road race affair, but its gated in a park and we havent been able to see it. I think Marceau, Stoltz and Battlier will dominate the ride and will be the wheels to follow. With lebrun coming into contention later on. I imagine the first few km’s to be brutal before settling on open forest roads. Leaving the two laps around the majestic castle and its hill to decide the results sheets…

What a beautiful location. Tom, Janet, Dave and the entire XTerra crew have created a great venue of world wide race locations.
