Most my energy this week went into preparing for a presentation opportunity as guest speaker alongside my father in Worcester last night. Received the following from a friend earlier:

Tried the twitter thing but everything is printed so small?? Am I stupid or what, can’t figure it out, Actually tried to post my comments about your talk on your website, but will have to settle for e-mail. Anyway, great talk and had heaps of positive feedback. Unfortunately for your Dad, I must agree with your philosopy regarding sport and life in general. You are fortunate that the “penny has dropped” for you so early in your life – eg. the joy of the journey above the arrival at your destination and having fun while doing your job. As long as you continue to notice the small things in nature and focus on people and our Maker your highs will be higher than you ever imagined and your lows will be short lived and bearable.
