Had a great day on Maui. Lazy morning, catching up with Brian and Jenny who got in late the night before. Doing an incredible swim, maybe the most amazing swim I’ve had yet, swimming towards the Maui Prince Hotel from up the coast. Something like swimming in an aquarium. A warm one. Checked out part of the run course with Brian, while hearing of his phenomenal effort last year. And caught up with two South African’s I’ll be hanging with for the week. Aparently a coolish day in Maui. But a lot warmer than Truckee, even have some burn I think. More tomorrow…

Avoid the burn, can be as bad as road rash when trying to get a good nights sleep. Enjoy that fish tank but watch out for those lava rocks on the trail.
