Spent a divine evening in Cape Town with some of Ruth’s family. Her uncle from Maurtius, two brothers, Ruth and myslef enjoyed exquisate fine wining and dining. Eating being one of my favourite extra meural activities, and the drinking, well, all too much.
Have a look at the spot, Five Flies, and grab half a chance to experience its old ambiance and unreal food.
Ruth’s two brother, Doug and Steve, have come down from Natal to race the Breede Canoe Marathon this weekend. Will be out there supporting them. The Breede flows past our farm, which is where they have been based for the week preparing, and the race itself is just a bit downstream from it.
