Had such a great 4h mtb long ride on Saturday in the most perfect spring weather along the foothills of the Stellenbosch mountains. Every view seemed more crisp and clear than before, and all the fynbos smelt most distinctly. Tires gripped, sweat dripped, and in all was just a ride as good as it gets.

Piet joined,but started seeing stars before reaching midway on the ride… I havent seen such a spectacular bonk for a while, if ever. From riding alongside me to not being able to grip the USN bar I handed him in a matter of minutes. Too funny.

Felt great, rode aggressively, ticked off the 20min run off the bike well too, with some quality in. Before heading down to Kauai (health fastfood and smoothies) for some relaxing. Unreal that I get to call this my ‘day job’.
