MSM magazine asked me to profile the cycle route for the Jailbreak Triathlon on the 16th December at the Brandvlei Prison just outside Worcester, and I went out to ride over one lap yesterday afternoon. The ride starts not far from my families farm, and I’ve spent plenty time on these roads in years gone by. Its a great ride, with incredibly stunning mountains framing every view.

The Max triathlon is a two lap 100km ride, mainly flat, great great time trialing course with one hill some 7km before the turn around. I’ll give more of my feedback when I’ve written and completed my indepth analysis…. What a laugh. Dont know what advice I have to give on the course, but will try summons some thoughts somewhere.
