Spent a stunning two days up the West Coast at a family spot on the Langebaan lagoon. Twas perfect winter days, with crisp clear air and a baby blue sky. Just about flower season, and will have to head back there in a few weeks time to see the carpets of wild daisies that will cover the fields in glory for a few weeks.

Its been a great rain season here, and the Namaqualand Daisies should be stunning this year. It’ll be a first for Ruth.
Training was upped a bit this past week, and really enjoyed. Hungry to get going. My cast is due to come off on Friday. Touch wood. I really need it to come off this week.
Celebrated my uncle Michael, my Godfather too, launching a little dingy this weekend. Was not quite the boat disaster launch of Shrek 3, but made for good laughs all the same.
