My Godson Joshua Fraser spent Sunday at the farm. We drive. Thats what we do. All day. All vehicles.

(Handling the old Benz)
He has a driving passion like nothing I’ve seen. An unquenchable thirst for more and more. Even yesterdays wind and dust clouds didnt dampen his enthusiasm.
I should learn from him: Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures (Life’s Little Instructions).

(A picture of concentration)

(Inspecting the flat tire – doubt it was us?)

(Rolling on the John Deer)

(Then the Case International)

(Flooded stream from the past week’s rainfall)

(Even on the scrambler)

(The plaas bukkie)
Even lunch is a burden for him, time taken from driving. We drive everything: tractors, truck, digger loader (he actually lifted and dropped some dirt), bukkie, motorbike, combi, VW Golf, Kia, and then we do the list again…
His progress is sensational though, and each time amazes me the development that is made from the previous visit. He’ll be grown up soon, not needing me to handle the clutch, acceleration and breaking anymore, and will be flying around the farm on his own. I best appreciate the moment. News

(Lunch time)

(The wine wasnt his…)
Its a marathon 7 hour effort. Pails my 1h20 morning long run for effort and input. And by Sunday evening I was cooked. Josh of course, wanted to go again.
