It’s been a narly week. Tough times. I’m actually faily exhausted. Since my return from Maui my totalled movie time is tenfold my training time, and my Ben and Jerry count exceeds my veggie intake.
I’ve not made it to bed before 2am really. But I have managed to watch Deception, Taxi to the Dark Side, Closer, Purple Violets, Whale Rider, The Bank Job, Mongol…
But the highlight has been the Ben and Jerry’s. If only American’s vote for them on Tuesday…
My favourite flavour at the moment is “Imagine Whirled Peace”. The best.
Plagirising off the Ben and Jerry’s website: When Ben & Jerry’s wanted to talk about peace, we couldn’t think of a better person to exemplify the message than John Lennon. Through his art and lyrics he imagined a world without war and asked us all to “Give Peace a Chance”. We hope this whirly mixture of toffee cookies and fudge peace signs enlightens your bellies and souls and makes you ask what you can do to promote peace in your lives.

With all the rain and snow this weekend, it was a fine opportunity to connect Gary’s CompuTrainer and my new Epic, and do some seat height testing. It measures watts, and so we did a few 10min intervals at a constant controlled HR and tried to see where it was more efficient. Seems I have definitely been riding too high. I’ll edit the video footage and blog it tomorrow.
My last day in Truckee tomorrow. Will be a sad departure. Gia, Gary and little Ella are precious property.
I’ll miss little Ellabella and her funny ways. Most adorable. Turned three yesterday…
