More Imana Wild Ride 2008 Photo’s

Imana Wild Ride 2008 – Best of Collection by Jon Ivins.

This to rest my case – the most visually stunning experience. Secondly, my furthering in efforts to convince my coach Gary Mandy to join me on the 10th anniversary of the Imana Wild Ride next year.

(Taking the barge of a ferry across to the start of Day 1)

(Definitive moment – Max and I in the back – we inflated my tire on this side, and never bridged – then got lost)

(The hardest riding – trying to stay on through such sections)

(From goat paths to fast beaches)

(If only I’d ridden there… We lost time by going over this hill)

(Riding in pairs makes a special dynamic across this terrain)

(Coffee Bay’s dolphin’s – they surfed waves for hours)

(Note the rip pulling out to sea – I crossed higher in fear of being swept out!)

(Every morning’s sunrise was mind numbingly breathtaking)

(Untouched beaches with no first world imprint insight – just rural subsistence living)

(Drenched from helmet to cleat)

(A “mother” – brutal walking up steep gradients – Day 3 was celebrated as Mothers Day)
