Moving Email

Received this note via Facebook, and it means the world to me. Special to be a part of what is redefining your world.

Thanks so so much for taking a moment and sharing your story. Safe travels down and have a brilliant time on Saturday. I’ll be there at the finish, and hoping you’ll come over and introduce yourself to tell of a happy first Xterra experience.

Hello,

I would just like to wish you good luck for Sunday’s Xterra in Grabouw. I will also be competing in my first LITE triathlon EVER and is very excited to be part of such a big event!

I am a 35 year old mother of 2 beautiful kids and currently weighs in at 102kg!! I have lost already 10 kg in my 8 weeks training for this event, but lost more fat percentage and feel great!

After watching a few events on tv and seeing the competitiveness of triathlons, I almost quit was it not for your advice in the latest Xterra newsletter saying that all competitors must get out there and have fun. Even if I come in last I will feel elated in knowing that I stuck to my program (done by Sonja Otto-Terblance) and facing my fears!

Good luck again for your race on Sunday. Know that you do inspire people to achieve their goals and becoming healthier people who will in turn raise their children with the same interest.

Kind regards
