Ending a year.
A group of us went for a year ending wine tour on mountain bikes. It was class and hilarious and really really fun all round. Too little food, too much tasty wine, a summer sun.
- Afternoon light. Sun setting the ride and 2010.
- When everything is humourous? Frodeno and Bobby.
- The final coffin nail: Cogniac by Tokara.
- Sauser taking some time out. Involuntarily so.
- A private room at the Tokara Restuarant.
- My view over lunch.
- This stunt got as escorted in a hurry.
- View from the swim day, out over Pniel.
- A few bottles of all made are kept in a chilled ‘wine-library’.
- Tiny but scrumptious.
- Too heavy to steal. French oak barrels.
- A view from within the Tokara restaurant.
- Wouldnt pass the straight line cycling test.
- Cogniac distilling. Loved this room and antique looking equipement.
- Bobby towing Sauser up and over Hellshoogte.
- Four Sauv Blanc, some Shiraz, and I forget. Thankfully water in the background.
- Alluvia wine cellar. Tasting straight from the barrel.
- Ending a year.
- The lads trying to paying attention during the wine tasting.
- Seats were in short supply? Wine was in over supply.
- State of the art wine cellar. Tasted from vat 45 I think…
- Getting set for a sobering dam swim.
- Award winning architecture for stainless steel, concrete and glass.
