Went to “Carols Oppie Bos” with two friends of ours on Sunday night for a picnic with Christmas carols at Paul Roos, organised by their church the Stellenbosch Gemeente. The picnic was a treat, and singing special. Ruth even managed some Afrikaans in some of them…

Watched some of the excitement this weekend, while enjoying seeing some old school friends partying it up around the games. Must have been 15 000 plus people attending the main rugby game at the Markotter Stadium in Stellenbosch. The spirit and heritage there is hard if not impossible to explain. But really enjoyed all.
