Some how am in control tonight, and not frantically sorting till 12pm. Perhaps the 5am start time has been the motivator for the earlier night. Staying at Ruth’s home in Pietermaritzburg, some 10min from the start of what I expect to be a really tough 5h30 race across three disciplines: running, mountain biking, and paddling.

Stocked up on my USN supplements this past week, and now all I need to do is get all of “that”, swallowed and digested to  be smoking on Gummy berry juice. Such a treat being able to train on supported nutrition. Dont know how I survived on H2O and O2.

In Natal for the final of the Jeep Msinsi Multisport Series at Albert Fall’s tomorrow. 5km paddle, 20km mtb, 5km run. Should be plenty fun, and potentially the final could attract up to 800 entrants of multisport enthusiasts. The series serves as build up for the Powerade Triple Challenge on the 3rd of November.
