Did a ride out along the coast yesterday, from Stellenbosch (around the mountain on the left below) , along the coast through Strand, Gordan’s Bay, onward to Rooielse and back. One of the most scenic rides, and one which I’ve mentioned as part of the Totalsports Challenge route.

After a month of battling my alignment with crisis management of all forms, I found the cause of my troubles in the most logical of places where I should have started my investigation a month ago. Cursed with bitter frustration and sweet relief at the sight of my right mtb cleat that had shifted dramatically.
