A great start to the year! Had a strong day from gun to tape, in near perfect conditions, with more support than anyone could need. Body responded really well earlier, but fading on me now, and a proper race report will have to wait for the morn…

(Finishing the Totalsports Challenge 2008)

My next few days will be spent rounding up last minute necessities, small bits of specific training, equipment testing, and vowing to do things differently next time. But then race day will come and go, smiles will abound (I hope), and next time round, the cycle repeats. Alas.

I am currently preparing for the Totalsports Challenge Kleinmond on the 12th of January which starts in Gordan’s Bay and finished further along the coast in Kleinmond. Its where the Totalsports Challenge started 7years back, and is geographically a perfect location for the 7 discipline multisport event.
