On the run…

Turned into another busy week. Plenty of exciting pits and pieces, that never equate to faultless training.

Just two bits I post for now: Got another one of “those” phone calls yesterday. From Mason’s Bike Inn. Mmm mmm. The one has arrived. It has arrived. The business has arrived - the S-Works Transition.

I was in Cape Town yesterday afternoon, and couldnt make it back in time for a sighting. Itching I was. Sitting at the terminal at the moment, with another delayed flight, but I made sure to go via Mason’s this morning. Shit me. Just wait for the fine arts gallery i’ll make of this one…

Off to Joburg for Puma’s South African launch of their 2008 running range. Be prepared to get blown away. I’ve seen the training kit manual, and I’ve seen some garments in the flesh. I tried out a few pre-release editions shoes, and take my word for it, the gap between fashion and sport has been narrowed. You’ll no longer have to divide your cupboard into training gear and going out trendyness. Its all one and the same from here.

They’ll be doing a lot of campaign on a cat walk in Beijing, but you’ll see it. At the Games. It’ll be unmistakable.
