Usain Bolt - Puma’s Gold Slipper Boy

How incredible was that run? I dont know if I’ve seen anything like it. If only my old gold Puma race flats went half as fast as those custom gold spikes. I’m glad for Puma, and their Runway Collection campaign that hinged on the games, and on their principal player Usain Bolt - from his island of less then 3million inhabitants. Carrying the hopes of a nation, of campaign, all at the age of 21 (22nd birthday in three days time).

Race Report: Jeep Msinsi Multisport Series 2008 - Shongweni

Multisport Long Course - 5km trail run, 20km mountain bike, 5km paddle

1st - 3′52 ahead of Andrew Birkett

Shongweni is a South African experience, with its poverty stricken shanty town shacks at the entrance surrounding a stunning reserve with the affluent enjoying its privileges. While paddling I could look up at the mud homes on the hillside, and but be grateful. A part of life here. It ads to Shongweni’s character that makes it one of my favourite venues in South Africa.
