Sabie Experience 08 - Photo’s as evidence

December 17th, 2008 by Dan Hugo

Bobby Behan and myself high up on Day 1.
Photo’s are by Conrad himself. A talent in more ways than one… Thanks for the visuals and memories Stoltz. For more of his artistic side, view his Flickr page.

Laughing about on Day 3 (I think) before the downpour.

A downpour of our own? Day 1 recovery…

Maybe more recovery than we needed. Never enough of a good thing, no?

Well, maybe then.

My future iconic room mate: Jacques Janse van Rensburg. Great guy with greater talent.

Conrad Stoltz. Burry Stander (me top listed inspiration source for 08). And the man to sign him as reward for his incredible year, Bobby Behan.

We thought the rain was funny at first. I did at least.

Seems Bobby could see what was about to unfold - Irish Style Riding.

A style I’ve evidently not mastered.

Appreciate the view please. Took 3hours of climbing to capture it.

The single tracks were few and far between unfortunately.

I am Specialized.

Sabie is near to Stoltz’ home town. Read his version of Sabie here.
