There’s a treadmill aka rats wheel in the garage, I’ve got the Roubaix setup on the compu-trainer, and the Truckee High School pool is like a hothouse. So we’re on the move and have had the first altitude blows to the chest; but I’m up in the third round. Riding indoors means Apple TV downloads. An American Ski Team documentary, The Hurt Locker, and Food Inc. Need to blog about them all. Especially Food Inc. Beyond that, got the little stove top espresso hissing – still needing to find a good local bean roaster – and stocked the fridge today with numerous “not in SA” items that have me all excited. Need another few days to settle totally, but getting there.
Knackered. Another 11hour effort under the three layered duvet sandwich.

(Only the coolest machinery I’ve ever seen)

Oh you are so funny, a snow blower. So glad to hear from you, hadn’t been on your site lately, busy with work then down in Mexico. It’s warm and beautiful in San Diego, biked this morning, ohlala perfect weather. We don’t have altitude, but there is not any snow.
It is such a gorgeous time in Truckee, but only if I planned to snowboard, I do agree their house looks so nice all white with snow, and I can imagine the pool at the high school – steaming.
BTW: I love the Wildlife photos!! That’s just like I picture SA, running in the wild!!
