Spent all day in Jonkershoek, taking various tires around a set course, figuring different attributes of each, and valuing that against a test tire. Will be back out and about tomorrow, learning that there is a lot more than meets the eye…

In short: Christoph Sauser, Burry Stander, Lene Byberg, Conrad Stoltz and myself ride. Stolts and I on a different trail in Jonkershoek. Benno and Dylan change the tires for us, with the aid of a compressor run off a generator. Bobby Behan keeps all heading in the right direction, including media in attendance. Songo and a few kids from Kayamandi join for a small bit of riding late in the day.
Will do more reporting when less smoked tomorrow.
