Making the dream possible:

I have had the great privelege of being the face of Jeep Apparel for the past few months, as well as having their support in chasing my dreams. Jeep Apparel have been a supporter of multisport for years, and I am in awe of their vision to position a brilliant clothing label the way they have. A treat being a small part of that positioning strategy.   

Puma have transformed my sporting image into one of trend and design. Whether my running shoes, camalback, or even just a vest, all has a brilliantly fresh tinge to it. I love the brand, love the gear, and love to look the part in Puma. Looking the part is half the battle, and Puma make that easy.

Support:

USN has transformed my trainig nutrition. O2 and H2O simply is not sufficient. Not only can I hit that extra percent or two in training, I’m not as depleted after, I’m putting back faster with a recovery mix, rebuilding stength and topping levels, to achieve objective in the next session. Beyond this, the vitamin and mineral side, keep me healthy, immune system boosted, and functioning optimally.

Specialized is the iconic label in the biking realms as well as for me personally with Conrad Stoltz being a Specialized fan for years. This compounded when meeting Christoph Sauser on his yearly training camps in Stellenbosch, hearing of and seeing the Specialized R&D through him. All is taken one step further, whether a glove, tire, or a complete bike.

 Needless to say the first mtb I bought was a Specialized, a black Specialized Epic, on returning from slave labour in New Zealand in early 2005. I thought I had it made. Over the years I got to use plenty Specialized bits, all hand-me-downs from Stoltz, and my passion for the brand grew, till I finally got an S-Works hardtail earlier this year. Sold on Specialized.

 Having their support is a dream, in more ways than one. You can never be too Specialized.

I do all my training with a Garming Forerunner 305, and upload a bulk a valuable data to my coach, Gary Mandy over in the USA to analyse. Its become a must have in day to day routine, and I would be lost without it.

EA Corporation have supplied me with a Sony PSP and games to escape into a world of relaxation and edge of seat excitement for the kick back moments of my days, as well a antidote to the mind numbing travel. You can browse the net on it, play all sorts of games, watch movies, and pass time like never imagined. Its been a blast.
