Was semi orderly and timely today - getting to the airport with more than 10min to spare to closing. A margin that is more familiar on the other side of closing. Thankfully so, as the new airport terminal caught me off guard. Further walk, but through a world class facility. A proudly South African moment. [...]

Yeah yeah. Grand weekend in simplest of forms - time away with some friends 2.5hours Karoo bound from Stellenbosch, otherside Ceres towards Calvinia, nestled between bright spring flowers and timeless rocks and an overwhelming void of electricity and Vodacom. Priceless silence and peaceful soul time with much laughter to boot.
Been a great week back in thin Sierra Nevada air - settling training and bio-rhythms after 10days on the Midwest trail.
