(Tanzanite sparkling wine)
My mother celebrated her birthday on Wednesday, and joined her and the rest of my family to a function at Worcester Gymnasium. My mother is one of the most inspiring woman I know, and I admire and honour her for her journey. She’s believed in me, supported and provided, and been beyond in so many ways. Happy birthday Danielson’s mother.
The guest speaker for the night, a resident in Worcester, is one of the most acclaimed cap classic wine makers in South Africa, and was directing the entire JC le Roux operation for a few years. Now though, she is doing her own label under her birth stone, Tanzanite, and recently won a gold at the Michael Angelo Wine Competition.
If you are fortunate enough to track down a bottle, you’ll be rewarded by the alternate style. I’m no expert, but it was something very unusual and well worthy of celebrating life with.
