Thought to show the website through which Gary coaches me and through which I log my training data. We subscribe to a online software company called trainingpeaks. Its works really well with my Garmin Forerunner 305. The Garmin uploads easily through a ‘device uploader’, at the click of a few buttons, and presents Gary with some hard data, while there is room for me to offer excuses and bring the emotional side to the training results.
It can kick out all sorts of summaries and graphs, but I am more focussed on just the basics of the site. I really like the logging of daily metrics on the top right. Some are rated out of 7, with 1 being the best, while the overall is out of 10. Its just a rough guestimate, but I’m sure it leaves a trail to look back on if issues were to arise.
I also really like how the site logs, from the Garmin, the various disciplines. It even logs mountain bike time and distance apart from that on the road, and can have paddling, swimming, all logged separately.
It offers my coach, based in the US, a means of input, and an even better platform of following my output.
