Brilliant fun this morning. Brazilian culture is so much more expressive and energetic. Super fast course, starting from Sao Lourenco city centre – so proper festive with crowds and all. Had to do more photos after than my life’s total! Major issues on course were a heard of cattle I could not get to move, and wondering how to steal coffee beans while running through the plantations. More seriously, the best race organisation I have seen. Attention to fine detail is astounding. Really impressed. So big congrats to the entire 3XM team.
Off to do a trail night run – have my headlight set an all – Sounded like a fun idea – and active recovery added miles maybe? And seems I need to line up for a mtb burn up in the morning. 45km race. Then on to Rio for the night. All seems too good. Beyond grateful to have been shipped out here.
